 News from NA World Services (NAWS):

  • WCNA 70th Anniversary – There is planning underway for the next World Convention to be in Europe in 2025. The location is not set, but they are exploring 3 potential cities (Dublin, Frankfurt, Lisbon) – more will be revealed
    • One motion in the CAR relates to the future of WCNA

  • Literature Review & Input needed:
    • Group Business Meetings Service Pamphlet has been revised to include new sections on Consensus and on Delegation. The draft is posted for a 90-day review (na.org/revising-group-business-meetings).
    • H&I Basics Revision – The third component, Committees, will be available for review and input soon (na.org/revising-HI-basics).
    • Updated PR pamphlets – 2024 Membership Survey (and a PowerPoint with more of the data!), NA: A Resource In Your Community, and Information About NA. Posted in English with translations to follow at na.org/pr.
    • IP #21 “Staying Clean in Isolation” approval draft is in the 2026 CAR
  • Online Literature at www.na.org – Information Pamphlets (IPs) are now available in both HTML and PDF format.
  • Beginning January 1, 2026, most materials in our inventory will increase in price by 15%. Several items, including The NA Survival Kit and In Times of Illness will remain at their current price and a few items, such as Guiding Principles, will increase very slightly. Pricing on the complete poster set and Group Starter Kit is increasing more than 15% but is still less than the total value of the bundled contents. Additionally, some special editions and bundles will be offered at stable or reduced prices. We have posted the updated 2026 price list.
  • 2026 WSC – May 3-9, 2026 “Our Common Welfare” 50 years of the WSC 1976 – 2026
    • Conference Agenda Report (CAR) is available to view and download at www.na.org/conference
      • 3 WB motions; 2 Regional motions, CAR survey; Discussion Topic survey (less motions = more discussion)
    • ARSCNA CAR workshops – Sat, Nov 15, 2025 at 10am CST & Sun, Dec 7, 2025 at 10am CST (see flyer) – in person workshops for your Area or Loner Group are available upon request!!
    • SEZF (Southeast Zonal Forum) will have a hybrid CAR workshop available Nov 8, 2025 at 8am CST
    • SZF (Southern Zonal Forum) will have a virtual CAR workshop on Nov 22, 2025 at 9am CST.
    • February 28, 2026 – Regional Reports due (RD will be compiling info from RCMs, Loner Groups, etc)
    • Initial straw polls will be after April 18, 2026 – if motions get 80% support or not in support during the straw poll, then that will be the final decision
  • CAR Survey (aka “Literature Survey”)

News from the Southern Zonal Forum

  • Decided that all Winter SZF will be virtual until decided otherwise, and all Fall SZF will be held at MZSSNA when it happens in the same year (meeting briefly ahead of MZSSNA virtually).
    • Fall 2025 SZF – The recent SZF Meeting was held October 24 – 26, 2025 in Louisville, KY. Star and I were not able to attend due to prior commitments for the Arkansas Regional Convention.
    • Winter 2026 SZF – will be held virtually January 24th 9am – until ?
    • Summer 2026 SZF – will be held in Red River Region July 24-26, 2026 (Sherman, TX – 1 hour north of Dallas)
    • Fall 2026 SZF – will be held during MZSSNA during the weekend of October 1-4 in Wichita, KS.
  • MZSSNA (Multi-Zonal Service Symposium) (October 1-4, 2026 in Wichita, KS) – Some positions are still open and all committees are open so you can join in for the planning
    • The main workgroup committee meets the 3rd Wednesday of month at 6:30 pm on zoom. You can join the meeting by clicking on the link on the front page of the website https://mzssna.org
    • The programming committee will start meeting the 2nd Wednesday of month at 6:30 pm on zoom.
  • SZF Fellowship Development and Public Relations Coordinators have decided to combine their regularly scheduled meeting – dates and times TBA

  • At the request of the US Zones, our task team was formed to explore and support efforts that increase access to Narcotics Anonymous (NA) services in rural and marginalized communities. Our goals are to:
      • Expand awareness and accessibility of NA services in rural areas.
      • Increase awareness and accessibility in marginalized communities, especially by identifying who may be missing from our fellowship.
      • Strengthening mentorship opportunities and tools that improve consistency in service delivery and help identify members in need of mentorship.
      • Build recognition of the US Collaboration as a trusted resource that members know about and reach out to for mentorship.
    • To support these goals, we developed a fellowship-wide survey (Survey Deadline: March 8, 2025): https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JDBYMWK (see flyer)
    • Outreach to Rural & Marginalized meetings/members – collecting existing resources and identifying current projects aligned with the goals of the task groups (see flyer)
